My PhD project addresses the question, how were political borders conceptualised, developed and operated during the Hellenistic Period. With this in mind I look at a wide geographical and chronological scope. Analysis is undertaken across Seleucid, Ptolemaic, Antigonid and Attalid contexts utilising a variety of literary and archaeological material.

My main research interests are Hellenistic and Roman history, archaeology, culture contact, ancient empire and ancient geography.
